City of Moncton — a great place to call home

The city of Moncton is the largest city in New Brunswick, and is located in the centre of the Maritime Provinces, earning its nickname as the “Hub City”. Geographically, the city is located along the north bank of the Petitcodiac River. In the early 1900’s, Moncton diversified with a number of retail, manufacturing and service expansions. It is home to two world-class hospitals, several universities, and a wide variety of entertainment services. Moncton also features several urban parks, including Centennial Park, Mapleton Park, Irishtown Nature Park and Bore View Park. New Brunswick’s largest shopping district is located conveniently in Dieppe, just outside Moncton, and features a wide array of retail stores, restaurants, banks and a Shoppers Drug Mart. With a low cost of living and dynamic environment, Moncton has been ranked by several magazines as one of the most desirable cities to live for people of all ages.
