Quarries — a great place to call home

Quarries is a small neighbourhood located in the east end of Ottawa, southwest of Montreal Road and Bathgate Drive. The area is primarily residential, with a multitude of apartments and single-family homes. Quarries is ideally situated near all necessary commercial attractions, yet itself remains quiet and peaceful. From Montreal Road, residents can take several local bus routes to all major areas. The bus route number 12 takes passengers directly to downtown Ottawa in under 30 minutes, where they can find the Byward Market, several historic parklands, as well as art and cultural attractions. The same bus route also quickly takes passengers down to several nearby grocery stores, as well as a Shoppers Drug Mart located on the corner of Montreal Road and St. Laurent Boulevard, convenient for getting prescriptions filled.

The city of Ottawa is served by OC Transpo, offering a number of local bus routes that take passengers to and from all major areas of the city, with accessible door-to-door transit available for those in need. The Montreal Hospital is located only 1 km away from Quarries, and can be easily accessed by either bus or foot.
