Redwood — a great place to call home
Located in Ottawa’s west end, Redwood is a small residential neighbourhood within close proximity to some major commercial districts in the city. Geographically, it is bound by Greenbank Road to the east, Baseline Road to the south, Morrison Drive to the west and Highway 417 to the north. The primarily residential areas are situated in the east and west ends of the neighbourhood, with both apartment buildings and townhouses, while more detached homes are available in the west side along Morrison Drive. The Pine Crest Shopping Centre is only a 15-minute walk from Redwood, and is home to a multitude of banks, electronic and department stores, as well as several eyewear and optometrist stores and clinics.
The city of Ottawa is served by OC Transpo, offering a number of local bus routes that take passengers to and from all major areas of the city, as well as smaller neighbourhoods. Accessible door-to-door transit is available for those in need. Both the Bayshore Shopping Centre and Queensway Carleton Hospital are only short bus rides away from Redwood.
