Deep River in Ontario located 200km northwest of Ottawa on the Trans-Canada HIghway. It borders on the province of Quebec and sits next to the Laurentian Mountains. Deep River was established in 1944 and takes from the fact that Ottawa River is 402 feet just outside the town.
