Woodpark — a great place to call home

Conveniently located by the scenic Ottawa River, Woodpark is a small neighbourhood situated in the Bay Ward of Ottawa, Ontario. Geographically, it is bound by Richmond Road to the north, Woodroffe Avenue to the east, Carling Avenue to the south and Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway to the west. The area is primarily residential, with the main commercial areas located along Carling Avenue. The Carlingwood Shopping Centre can be found directly to the east of Woodpark, and is home to a multitude of shops and services, as well as a Rexall Drugstore where residents can easily get prescriptions filled. Woodpark residents also have easy access to Britannia Beach and Conservation Area, a beautiful location to enjoy the outdoors during the summertime. The neighbourhood is served by the Woodpark Community Association, which holds a number of community events throughout the year.

The city of Ottawa is served by OC Transpo, comprising of a number of local bus routes that take passengers to and from all major areas of the city. Accessible door-to-door transit is available for those in need. The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus can be accessed via bus route 85 in approximately 30 minutes.
