Yaletown — a great place to call home

Yaletown is an urban neighbourhood located in downtown Vancouver. Geographically, it is bordered by Homer Street, Robson Street, and False Creek. In the past few decades, Yaletown has been transformed into one of the most densely populated neighbourhoods in Vancouver, packed with marinas, high rise apartments and converted heritage buildings, making it a harmonious community for both residence and work. The city’s seawall connects David Lam Part to George Wainborn Park, both rich in grass area and waterfront views.

While the area lacks big box stores and major chains, Yaletown features a multitude of fine fashion and unique furniture stores, bakeries, salons, as well as convenient stores. A Shoppers Drug Mart is located on the corner of Nelson and Homer Street, and is convenient for light grocery shopping and getting prescriptions filled. Community shuttles run by TransLink conveniently take passengers from Main Street, along Davie Street, down Beach Avenue over to Burrard, however most attractions in the neighborhood are easily accessible by foot.

Nearby attractions include the BC Place Stadium, Rogers Arena, Granville Island and Sunset Peach Park. St. Paul’s Hospital is also located just outside the neighbourhood in Davie Village and is easily accessible by bus.
