Community Description

Langstaff Square Care Community is located in an attractive residential area near Highway 7 and Yonge Street, and took its name from John Langstaff, whom developed many small businesses at the crossroads location. Opened in September 2003, an enclosed courtyard, garden, and walkway provide a safe and convenient outdoor experience for residents, families and visitors. Opting for either private or shared accommodation, the 160 residents have many activities to choose from including music, pet and art therapy programs, yoga, weekly Christian and Jewish services, and a unique nursing rehabilitation and physiotherapy program. A resident’s choir, a volunteer base of over 60 people, and a monthly Residents’ Council breakfast fundraising event—show that this is truly a vibrant, welcoming and multicultural home.
