Secord Trails Care Community is situated in the heart of Ingersoll in close proximity to the Victoria Community Centre, Ingersoll Seniors Centre, and Alexandra Hospital. This long-term care community opened its doors in 1975, and is surrounded by rural, picturesque beauty within walking distance of the Lawson Trails and Lion’s Park. Our residents enjoy their backyard oasis that harnesses the beauty of nature and the use of plants to great effect.
Secord Trails provides many unique programs and entertainment for residents, including clay art therapy with a local artist, exotic animal shows, Family Fun Fest Day, Ingersoll Cheese Museum visits, John Deere Museum visits, camp fires, and the Mayor performing in a duet for our residents. The Town of Ingersoll is also known as the “Town of Festivals,” which is celebrated during the summer months and includes the Canterbury Folk Festival and the Harvest Festival. Our Palliative Care Program provides peace of mind and comfort to families when they need it most.
