Rockcliffe Care Community is conveniently located across the street from Scarborough General Hospital. It is well known for its care programs, which include the Peritoneal Dialysis Program, Restorative Care and Physiotherapy Program, Wound Care Program, Palliative Care, and Pet Therapy. Rockcliffe opened its doors in 1972 and, because of the cultural diversity of the 204 residents, is often referred to as Sienna’s very own “United Nations”. The long-term care home’s activity programs express the variety of resident interests, including bi-monthly breakfast and gourmet clubs, special Friday events, monthly outings, art and pet therapy, and ten different spiritual services. Many of the residents also enjoy the patio where all sorts of vegetables, fruit and herbs are grown.
