Community Description

Cheltenham Care Community is a well-established long-term care community located on Bathurst Street in the heart of Toronto’s Jewish community. Because of its years of service, this home has developed a deep connection to the community; and the variety of programming reflects the interests and backgrounds of the residents. Many of our employees have worked at the home for decades, which has been key to creating a true sense of family and connection. Cheltenham Care Community opened in 1966, and is also well-known for its care programs, including skin and wound care, palliative care, rehabilitation care, and physiotherapy programs. The 170 residents have the option of private or shared accommodation.
