Caressant Care Woodstock was the first of the now 15 Nursing Homes in our family. We are located just minutes from the 401 and close to nearby shopping. We are nestled among local schools in a quiet residential area of Woodstock.
Caressant Care Woodstock has been taking care of the physical, social and spiritual needs of our residents since 1975. We have an active Responsive Behaviour Team to support residents with behavioural needs.
Physiotherapy services are provided to our residents. Residents are assessed by a Registered Physiotherapist after they are admitted to our home. Those who require treatment are provided with a plan of care that is carried out by qualified Physiotherapy Assistants. All of our residents are reassessed on a regular basis and programs are changed according to need.
We are licensed and inspected by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and we are active members of the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA).
Caressant Care Woodstock also offers a Restorative Care Program. The goal of this program is to help residents who want to regain more of their independence. This may be to strengthen arms, legs or their core to enable the resident to feed themselves, dress their upper body or walk independently. We have had many success stories with residents becoming more independent.
We are in the South West LHIN and are supported by the Community Care Access Center. We have open door policies and welcome visitors to tour our facility at any time. Those wishing a guided tour are welcome to set up an appointment at their convenience.
