Community Description

We are a 18 bed family owned and operated retirement home situated just at the North end of Wingham, providing residents with a picturesque location which looks out onto some of Huron County’s prime agricultural lands. The property is beautifully landscaped with a walking path located on the property.

Braemar Retirement Centre strives to provide a variety of activities specially designed to meet our residents’ individual needs. Numerous professionally planned programs exist allowing residents to enjoy the company of their fellow residents, volunteers and community members as much or as little as they desire.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Braemar Retirement Centre offers spacious accommodation in deluxe private, private and semi-private suites. A range of suites are available to couples. Our residents enjoy a smoke-free environment and our one storey home allows for easy access to the outdoors.

We encourage residents to bring familiar things from home, such as comforters, furniture and decorative accessories in order to make their rooms more comfortable and homey.

DINING

Braemar has created a relaxing and enjoyable dining atmosphere, offering a delicious home cooked meal program to ensure that our resident’s nutritional needs are met.

SERVICES

Our responsive, caring and professional staff and are trained to meet your every need while encouraging independence and participation. Registered Practical Nurses are responsible for all medication assistance and health monitoring purposes. Guest Attendants assist with any activities of daily living which residents may need help with including bathing and dressing.
