Community Description

Shepherd Village Inc. is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that was incorporated in 1958 as The Pentecostal Benevolent Association of Ontario by concerned business people and clergy of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. On December 31, 1998 the name of the corporation was changed to Shepherd Village Inc.

Since the opening of the original Shepherd Lodge in 1961, our mission has been to provide a Christian environment for those who desire the assistance of and involvement with a Christian organization which is dedicated to meeting their physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs. Today, Shepherd Village with its continuum of care concept offers five distinct styles of senior living. It continues to fulfill its mission by providing accommodation and services at Shepherd Gardens Life Lease Residences, Shepherd Manor Seniors' Apartments, Shepherd Terrace Retirement Suites, and Shepherd Lodge Long-Term Care.
