Community Description

Founded in 1902, the historical Sault Collegiate Institute is now the site of Chartwell Collegiate Heights Retirement Residence. Ideally located with the escarpment behind it, Collegiate Heights offers stunning views of the city and the International Bridge over St. Mary’s River. Residents can enjoy these views from their suites and throughout the building, but sunsets are best enjoyed from the garden gazebo in summer. A three-storey addition in 2008 added thirty spacious one- and two-bedroom suites to this retirement home, complete with kitchenettes and balconies. All-inclusive services, delivered by skilled and dedicated staff, can be increased as care needs change, providing residents and their families with the peace of mind they deserve.
