Located in west Napanee, The Riverine is situated on beautifully landscaped grounds, which slope gently down to the banks of the Napanee River. In keeping with its natural surroundings, The Riverine has blended the beauty of natural wood beams with a chalet-style design to create a welcoming environment. The Lennox and Addington Hospital and medical centres, churches, shopping and park areas are all near by.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The Riverine offers residents two styles of retirement living and the flexibility to choose the type of accommodation best suited to their needs. Spacious living quarters are designed with the total comfort of the resident in mind. Every room is tastefully decorated and residents have ample room to decorate their suite with personal items and mementos. For further comfort, all rooms have an ensuite bath, are well-ventilated and are climate controlled.

Retirement Living Level The main level provides residents with the finest in retirement living. Residents can choose either private rooms, deluxe private rooms, or suites, all with ensuite baths. Our residents will appreciate that 24- hour resident supervision is available along with all meals and snacks, daily housekeeping and a planned recreational program. The Retirement Living level of The Riverine offers many common areas which are conveniently designed for socializing with family and friends. Included are: the solarium, lounge, central dining room, private dining room, and recreational room.

Independent Living Level The second floor of The Riverine is for residents who prefer to live independently in a secure building. On this level we have one, two and three room suites available, all with private baths, dining areas and kitchenettes. Several rooms feature shared balconies. Residents also know that if an emergency arises they can call for help through a Emergency Call System located in all rooms for communication with staff.

LIFESTYLE

Our residents enjoy many common areas which are conveniently designed for socializing with family and friends.

To encourage socializing, residents can relax or entertain guests in the solarium with its beautiful plants, or in the lounge with a cozy fireplace. For recreation, a workshop and craft area is available or residents can enjoy card games, billiards and more. A piano is available for the musical enjoyment of all residents.

DINING

At The Riverine, priority is placed on providing exceptional culinary services. Retirement Living residents' meals are provided three times a day, seven days a week, while Independent Living residents enjoy an evening meal daily. Meals are enjoyed in our wonderful water view dining area, or, on occasion, in the private dining room with family or friends. Special diets are catered to and planned by our Nutritional Care Manager. Self-serve refreshments are available around the clock.

SERVICES

There are different levels of care available. It is important that you choose the right level to fit your lifestyle and requirements. Crown Ridge Health Care Services Inc. offers several alternatives to make your new home an elegant, enjoyable and secure place to live.

Our Retirement Residences provide healthy seniors with an alternate lifestyle enabling them to maintain their privacy and independence while receiving the personal assistance they may require.

Our Long-term Care Homes provide 24 hour nursing care in accordance with the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care for seniors with chronic ailments or disabilities who require the daily attention of RN’s in addition to help with personal care.
